The Iron Fey series- yes, you HAVE to read this one too.

I read the Iron King a few days ago. It was brilliant.
And so I fell onto Winter's Passage greedily and then finally devoured, The Iron Daughter.

It's true what they say.
These books are magnificent.
4.5 stars out of 5, which is like a HUGE rating coming from me.

These series have aspects of Peter Pan, The Matrix, The Chronicles of Narnia- all mixed up into an original, beautiful story, with lots of love, adventure and oodles of breathtaking magic.

I mean, at several times I caught myself smiling till my jaw hurt- in excitement and approval and wonder, sometimes face-palming and over all just wanting to keep on reading, even though I reeeaaallly need to study.

Wow, okay guys, just WOW.
I'd put this right up there with the Hunger Games. Its less intense- comparatively, but really, in a league of its own.

What its about:
{book blurb}
Meghan Chase has a secret destiny—one she could never have imagined…
Something has always felt slightly off in Meghan's life, ever since her father disappeared before her eyes when she was six. She has never quite fit in at school…or at home.
When a dark stranger begins watching her from afar, and her prankster best friend becomes strangely protective of her, Meghan senses that everything she's known is about to change.
But she could never have guessed the truth—that she is the daughter of a mythical faery king and is a pawn in a deadly war. Now Meghan will learn just how far she'll go to save someone she cares about, to stop a mysterious evil no faery creature dare face…and to find love with a young prince who might rather see her dead than let her touch his icy heart.

It is positively awesome.

Teaser Quote: I licked my lips and whispered, “Is this where you say you’ll kill me?” One corner of his lip curled. “If you like,” he murmured, a flicker of amusement finally crossing his face. “Though it’s gotten far too interesting for that.”
