Almost-Sleepover Help.

I have just realized, after staring at the screen for more than 20 minutes, Im crap at writing.

Fml?

I also, exaggerate a lot, and I suck at spelling because if the spell check hadn't corrected me, this is what I was writing- 'exaguratte alot and I suck at speeling'.

Fml.

I am currently trying to find nice movies to watch at the almost-sleepover I'm planning for school.
The deets are- 5-9pm, movie, games, snacks, possibly dinner.
Its supposed to be all girls, with their ages from 14 to 19. So, finding a movie which everyone is going to enjoy is hard, since this is Pakistan and kissing is strictly PG17.

So I'm thinking, either Love Wrecked:

or Knight and Day:

or 10 Things I Hate About You?

I NEED SUGGESTIONS PEOPLE. And fast.

I GOT A TATTOO.

Okay.
So its a temporary tattoo.
And technically its called Mehndi.

But same difference right?

Mehndi is something that girls usually paint their hands with every Eid.
Eid [pronounced: ee-d] is a three-day Muslim holiday that marks the end of Ramadan, the Islamic holy month of fasting.
Its a herbal paste thing and its very pretty.

What I did to my hand this Eid.
This time, I didnt go get my hands painted. I dont really like most of the usual mehndi designs out there. I hate the bails and the big fat flower patterns. What I crave is intricacy, and above all, something different.

the usual mehndi designs out there

So I turned to the internet for help and thought of painting my hands myself. I got my designs from here and here.
Pretty, no?

I loved this. Its so different from the usual stuff, and so pretty.

 Eid was fun.
Its been ages since I've had a proper Eid with the whole extended family and it felt really good. Everyone was oohing and aahing at how 'tall' I've grown and how they still remember me as that little girl they used to play with. I know I should be all 'aah, annoying aunties/uncles! Of course I've grown. Thats how it usually happens.' but to tell you the truth, it felt good. I felt loved.

What I did to my cousin's hand, this Eid.

And then there was the Eidi.
Aaah. Eidi.
I got a lot of it, this Eid, and GUESS WHAT I BOUGHT WITH SOME OF IT?

I cannot wait to read it. Stupid Bio test.
Gotta hate studying :l.
Gotta love Meg Cabot.

And oh, a fun fact for you- its an adult book, and since I just turned eighteen two weeks ago, guess what that makes me folks?

Yep. And ADULT!

This fact makes me happy.

YOU CAN ALSO MAKE ME HAPPY.
By leaving a comment telling me how your eid was!

Dont Drink and Drive... CAUSE YOU'RE 18.

We celebrated my 18th the day before yesterday!

It was so much fun.

Sal sent me a huge box of pressies, which included HP stuff, books, random jewelery and lots of letters. They also made a huge card for me, signed by all my Karachi friends.

It totally made my day.

At night, my khala (mom's sister) came over with a After Eight, sexy mint choc cake, which she'd made herself.
It was heaven.

She also brought a non-minty cake which was also really yummy.

Nanijan (my granny) made Chicken Ala Keiv which was sooooo delicious.
Hot, deep fried chicken- stuffed with herbs, cheese and butter. Mmmmmmm.

And they (the family) gave me money and chocolates and jewelery.

All in all, it was waaay better than my 17th, which was a huge FAIL.

So I'm grateful to God for that. <3

I cant believe I'm finally an adult though.
Its a scary thought. So much responsibility! I feel like I'm not ready.
But thankfully, I have awesome girlfriends and a pretty good family to help me get through!

I would like to learn how to drive though.

I like to Draw.

I do.
I love to draw, except I dont draw much, I generally just doodle.

             Drawn on my iPod.
When I do doodle, I like to draw girls.
NOT 'dolls', but girls.

Doodled in Paint

Mostly I like to draw pretty, curvy girls.
Its not that I'm a pervert, its just- thats how I draw 'em!

Doodled in Paint.

Some of my doodles turn out pretty sweet- even if I say so myself.. others.. not so much.
But.. who cares really?

I just- like to draw.

Oh, and you can now contact me on my new email address- chicklitgirl@live.com!

Back to School- Uncool.

So Monday was 'the first day of school'.
I was the official 'new girl'.

It was... well. Not horrible. But I'm not jumping for joy either.

I dont have any friends, there are no hot guys, everyone has a boyfriend/girlfriend and all of them hang out in close knit groups.
Oh they're friendly alright, but I feel so stupid just going up to them, sitting in their midst, with a huge I'm-the-loser-new-kid smile on my face and listen to them share inside jokes, make attempts to include me in the conversation and etc.
Its just, I feel like they're being forced to be my friend, or that they're going to think things like 'Just look at her, trying to get all cozy with us.'
Okay, I know that sounds completely silly, but heres the thing.
The college belong to my moms sister- my khala. Her husband is the Principal and founder, and my aunt is the director.
So, on the first day, a few of the girls were called to the office and told to be 'nice' to me and make me 'feel comfortable' and were promised that I wouldn't say anything 'against' them to the Principal/Director.

Now they're basically being forced to be nice to me.
How embarrassing.

Its only been two days so far, and I'm as uncool and lame as I'll ever be.
How pathetic.

I found a sexy book shop here though. Well, okay, I knew about it before, but it was lame back then- but now?
OMGGG!!!!
Such super sexy books FOR LESS THAN A DOLLAR.
I bought three books yesterday, I was drooling for more, but I'm kinda broke at the moment so yeah.
The books I bought:

Its about a girl who googles herself and finds a website dedicated her.
[Click on the book to get a better summary/blurb].

Just as the tittle suggests- its about 21 different Proms!
The thing that caught my eye was the star studded author list.. David LevithanE. Lockhart, Aimee Friedman  John Green, Melissa de la Cruz and Cecily von Ziegessar, just to name a few!
And Prom=Romance=Loveloveloooooove.

Its about a new girl (LIKE MEEE) who moves into a creepy town and finds out shes a witch! As well as other witches.
I love witchy stories- the paranormal genre rocks, so this seemed
perfect.

I read the first one. Cyber Cinderella was was really nice. The plot was awesome, but it slightly fell flat for me maybe because it was a bit too drawn out and I wanted her stalker to be a bit more impressive!
But it was a light, quick read. Perfect for when you're bored and have nothing else to do!

Those Crazy Pakistanis.

Only in Pakistan.

I'm sure everyone has heard or read about the floods, the joota and the sialkot horror.

All I can say is.
We suck.
And should be ashamed of ourselves.

To help, what YOU (and I) can do is to DONATE generously please, and just pray. Also, look at this helpful post right here.
Pray that people stop being so stupid and make the little things count, and see how the bigger, better ones, fall right into place.

Looking at the horrifying video clips [YouTube] of the whole Sialkot thing, the only emotion I felt was anger. At the stupid people standing around the boys, mercilessly and literally  beating them to death. HOW THE FUCK COULD THEY DO THIS? We are NOT fucking savages!
The stupid police officers just enjoying the party and the kids, joining in the fun, taking a few swings with the sticks themselves. ALL IN THE HOLY MONTH OF RAMAZAN!
This is just seriously, unbelievable.

Another all time low for our gorgeous nation.
The frustrating thing is, we're not all like that! And that is something a majority of the world simply does not, [and some of them]can not, grasp.

I had a chat on Omegle with some boy, a few months ago.
After the asl part of the conversation, [he was from the USA] he asked me 'Do you hate me?'
And I was stumped and thoroughly confused.
'What...?' was my reply, but as I hit enter, I realized what he was talking about. And so I spent the next half an hour explaining to him that no, I do not support the Taliban, I definitely don't believe in terrorism/suicide bombings/ 9.11 etc, I could never even think of killing a human being and how, I certainly donot reside, in a mud house.

That was just where I was a born okay! We moved into a grass-and-wood hut as soon as I was ten.
So there.

In your face.
